All new clients should consider a consultation or at least a phone conversation with Kendra before booking online to have all your concerns heard before your scheduled appointment to ensure your appointment is a success. Also, anyone with questions about the salon and our policies, hair and health concerns, or style concerns consider one. Consultations cost you 15 minutes of your time and allows you my undivided attention. FYI-No braid services or extension for new clients will be accepted without an extension consultation to be scheduled before an appointment may be set.

Services that require deposits at Hair Under Construction have been determined and arranged through a face to face hair consultation. Services that require purchased materials to complete or time away from the salon would be included in this special situation.
Hair Under Construction is a FULL SERVICE SALON. Our goal is to care for your hair and teach you better ways to enjoy your hair. Every service comes with a consultation, wash, and deep conditioner. We use professional products that we provide. We do not charge you extra for shampoo service. However, some of our deep conditioners and treatments do come at a surcharge.
Yes, all monies are due at the time of service. You may use CASH, PAYPAL, or ZELLE.
Yes. All scheduled appointments at Hair Under Construction are accompanied by a confirmation email and a few reminders to confirm that the appointment is still needed. If you fail to cancel by means of email, phone, or text up to 24 hours before your appointment you will be charged a fee of $100 . This fee must be paid in order to rebook and /or maintain any future scheduled appointments at Hair Under Construction. There is a 15 minute grace period allowed before every appointment. If there is no communication and you are 15 minutes late your appointment may be filled and you will have to reschedule. This policy is strictly enforced to ensure that all clients are allowed to book and be cared for properly.
